Data Entry Specialist

Avail Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support a system migration from SAP Business One (SAP B1) to SAP Business One with Eralis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP systems, transferring and validating business data, and ensuring information is accurate, complete, and properly organized in the new system.

This role is well suited for someone who is comfortable working with large datasets, spreadsheets, and ERP software while collaborating with internal teams to support a smooth and successful transition. This is a 90 day project working Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm with a half hour paid lunch.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, review, clean, and prepare existing data from SAP Business One for migration into SAP B1 Eralis.
• Transfer data accurately between systems, following established migration procedures.
• Review and validate customer records, vendor information, inventory, item master data, pricing, financial records, and other applicable business data.
• Identify duplicate, incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate records and resolve discrepancies before migration.
• Map existing SAP B1 fields to the appropriate fields in the Eralis environment.
• Perform data reconciliation and verification after migration to confirm accuracy and completeness.
• Research and troubleshoot data import errors, mapping issues, and system discrepancies.
• Maintain organized documentation of migration activities, exceptions, corrections, and validation results.
• Coordinate with accounting, inventory, purchasing, operations, and IT personnel to confirm data requirements.
• Follow data security procedures and protect confidential business information.
• Assist with testing, user acceptance activities, and post-migration corrections as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1) is strongly preferred.
• Experience with ERP data migration, data entry, data cleansing, or system implementation.
• Familiarity with Eralis software or Eralis-specific SAP Business One modules is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, lookups, and comparing datasets.
• High attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies in large volumes of data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and meet project deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

• Previous migration from SAP Business One to an Eralis-integrated environment.
• Experience with ERP imports, data templates, field mapping, and validation reports.
• Familiarity with inventory, purchasing, sales, accounting, or project-related ERP data.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or system conversions.
