Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting Receiving and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Portsmouth, VA

Pay Range: $17.85

Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Assist with warehouse operations including receiving, packaging, and labeling customer orders
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and rolling pushcarts to move products safely and efficiently
• Inspect incoming products and verify accuracy against shipping manifests
• Support system transfers and administrative tasks related to warehouse management after 4:30 p.m.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintain a clean, organized workspace

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to perform basic math, read, and understand written procedures
• Comfortable working with computer systems and technology
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand or crouch for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work occasional overtime
