Description:

Warehouse ClerkTitan Virginia Ready Mix has an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Clerk for its Southern Virginia Ready-Mix division, located in Norfolk, VA. This salaried non-exempt position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. The primary function of this position is to support all warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management; coordinate maintenance needs and maintain systems for an accurate recorded history of fleet and plant repairs, parts, maintenance and labor; assist with shipping and receiving delivery products.Responsibilities:Enter information into and update the data bases for an accurate, recorded history of fleet and plant repairs, parts, maintenance and laborManage the receiving, proper storage, retrieval and timely issuance of equipment and partsAssist with maintenance cost reportingDetermine part needed from outlined specifications, research, source, obtain quotes, and place ordersReceive goods into inventory and enter the source and price of parts into the system; Inspect received goods for condition, count, and take appropriate actions for any discrepancies; Verify parts received against purchase order, reconcile differencesPerform physical inventory and verify stock counts against computer records; assist in inventory audits to identify discrepancies in inventory recordsMaintain proper housekeeping conditions of the warehouse facilities, ensure security of the building and inventory, as well as the safety of employees working or visiting the areasOperate a forklift safely and efficientlyAnswer phones and other duties may be assigned as neededQualifications:High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred3-5 years job-related experience in warehouse management, logistics, maintenance, procurement, or inventory control preferredExperience in Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) procurement, preferredAbility to work with limited supervision to complete work assignments, under tight deadlinesProficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPointThe ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, a continuous improvement mentality, ability to understand and satisfy the needs of the customer, a professional attitude, high levels of energy, and the ability to adapt quickly, be flexible and manage change effectivelyAbility to travel within operating region to deliver parts and assist with maintenance activitiesPhysical job requirements include working with exposure to extreme heat and cold, constant standing and walking and lifting up to 50 lbsTitan America LLC offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life, matching 401K, paid vacation and holidays).Titan America is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) / Affirmative Action employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
