Production Associate
Location: Portsmouth, VA
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Summary
Adecco is hiring reliable and safety-conscious Production Associates for a manufacturing facility in Portsmouth, VA. This is a hands-on, contract-to-hire opportunity for individuals with industrial or manufacturing experience who are looking to grow their careers in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate production and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine equipment inspections and operational checks
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance concerns
- Follow quality control standards and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support production operations and complete assigned tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, production, or industrial equipment experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work overtime as required
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements
- Work in varying environmental conditions within a production setting
