As an Access Control Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter incidents. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records for a controlled aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of controlled areas, facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support site access requirements.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while following applicable reporting and documentation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
