Yard Technician

Yard Technician Pay rate: $20-$21/hr, paid weekly Shift: 1st Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm Location: Chesapeake, VA

Seeking a multi-talented Yard Technician to assist with various labor duties, forklift operation, and yard spotting to move mobile office trailerunits.

Responsibilities:

• Moving units to and from production bays
• Stage units to our VAPS warehouse
• Move and stage units that have been returned
• Perform yard organization.
• Assist with yard projects
• Maintaining a safe working environment and practicing safe working habits including complying with client safety standards on-site.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is a must.
• Some knowledge of computers is necessary.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to work in NON-temp controlled environment
• Must be trainable, as cross-training in different aspects of role.
