We are a rapidly growing aquarium and aviary service company. Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This particular role will primarily be servicing of aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Lifting, bending, and some physical demands are involved in the position. This is a part-time remote position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month but will average around 5-10 hours a month.This territory does have an aquarium that must be serviced during their business hours Monday-Friday, 8AM-4PM.*Travel in a 150 mile radius of Norfolk, VA will be required. (Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving. Hourly Wage is not paid while driving)*Cities will include Yorktown, VA, Ahoskie, NC, and Mechanicsville, VA.*Due to work being performed in long term care homes, Covid-19 vaccine or masking/goggles may be required.Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 3-4 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job.Major position responsibilitiesWell organized and possess excellent time management skillsProfessional appearance with excellent communication skillsEffectively communicate company products and servicesAble to prioritize and handle multiple tasksInner drive and desire to exceed goalsRespond to calls, emails, faxes to take care of customer needsAble to make an efficient work scheduleManage service cycle for customer baseRequired education, skills, abilities, and experienceExperience in fish keeping and or bird keeping preferredGreat attitude and willingness to learn.Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need.Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance.Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team oriented environment.Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English.Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude.Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities.Able to travel in your service area radiusHeavy lifting and maneuvering is required.Flexibility is a must!High School education is preferred.Driver's License requiredJob Type: Part-timePay: From $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 5-10 per month.
