Key Responsibilities for Behavioral Support Technicians:
Deliver direct client care in both one-on-one and group settings, adhering to treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
Gather and document data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach.
Foster a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and their families.
Collaborate and communicate professionally with therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure effective program implementation.
Take direction and feedback from supervising staff, including BCBA/BCaBA.
Complete all necessary training aligned with organizational guidelines, compliance, and state and federal regulations.
Accurately log appointments in practice management software each day while adhering to billing and payroll policies.
Ensure compliance with RBT ethics code and maintain all patient privacy policies, including HIPAA confidentiality.
Engage with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and findings from behavioral interventions.
Collaborate with BCBAs to modify therapy plans according to client progress and evolving needs.
Qualifications for Behavioral Support Technicians:
Preferred: 6+ months of ABA experience, but not required.
Familiarity with general ABA practices.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities are a must.
