  • Location(s):Suffolk Elementary Schools- Southwestern, Elephants Fork, Hillpoint, Mack Ben, Florence, Northern Shores and Kilby Shores

  • Pay: 15.00 hourly $250.00 HIRING BONUS TO BE PAID OUT AT THE END OF SCHOOL YEAR

  • Hours: Monday through Friday AM shift 6:30am-9:15am PM shift 3:30pm-6pm

    As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before and after school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.

    We're looking for someone who:

    • Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment
    • Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
    • Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

    In this role, you will:

    • Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
    • Make child safety the top priority at all times
    • Keep the space clean and organized
    • Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
    • Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff

    Requirements:

    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • CPR and First Aid certification required
    • Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
    • Must have a high school diploma or GED,
    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • 6 months experience instructing children in a group setting.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
