Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, creating a welcoming and understanding atmosphere for a variety of backgrounds.
  • Deliver customized outpatient individual and family therapy designed to meet the unique needs of each client, promoting healing and resilience.
  • Develop holistic crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness initiatives, aiding clients in maintaining stability and empowering their mental health journey.
  • Engage in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning, leveraging your expertise to enhance client services.
  • Ensure timely billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorizations, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists to ensure a comprehensive approach to mental health care.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
  • Provisional license as required by state regulations.
  • Education aligned with professional licensing standards.
  • A deep passion for mental health and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
  • Dedicated to continuous professional development, with access to free supervision and continuing education.
  • Enthusiastic about collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance overall client care.
  • Strong ethical practice, including a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills capable of building rapport with clients and families.
  • Efficient in managing time and completing documentation and administrative tasks.

Columbia Mental Health offers equitable compensation practices, with a base pay range of $47 - $55 per billable unit. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market factors, and available incentives. These ranges reflect current compensation practices and may be adjusted in the future to remain competitive.
