Responsibilities for Loss Prevention

• Monitor stores and warehouse for potential threats
• Identify potential thieves or vandals among staff or patrons
• In some instances, monitor displays or changing rooms, both of which can provide additional opportunities to steal merchandise
• Review inventory and stock and investigate suspected pilferage by employees
• Document theft and other security violations
• Ability to respond well to emergency situations

• Prior experience in loss prevention or educational background in loss prevention, security or law enforcement (preferred)
• 1-3 years retail experience (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Superior observational skills
• Working knowledge of surveillance camera controls
• Ability to recognize unsafe working environments
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Knowledgeable on safety processes and procedures
