Role: Laundry Services Technician

Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Safely and efficiently operate laundry equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Provide outstanding customer service through positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior laundry experience is a plus but not required.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and effectively communicate with all building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to carry out daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work with cleaning products.
• Capable of following oral and written instructions, and performing routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area is required.
