Responsibilities
Design and Configure Monitoring Environments

• Set up Dynatrace environments for LOB-aligned teams, ensuring proper governance, tagging, and Management Zones.
• Configure dashboards, alerts, and integrations to meet both business and technical requirements.
• Leverage Monitoring as Code to improve standardisation.
• Configure service flows, distributed traces, and code-level visibility for critical applications.
• Ensure accurate detection of services and dependencies for full-stack observability.

Act as Technical Point of Contact

• Serve as the single point of technical contact for Markets Application Production Services and SRE-aligned teams.
• Provide expert guidance and hands-on support for monitoring implementations.

Collaborate for Insights and Best Practices

• Work closely with SRE and application support teams to deliver performance reports, share actionable insights, and advise on proactive monitoring strategies.
• Promote observability best practices across development and operations teams.

Custom Metrics and Dimensions

• Partner with development teams to instrument applications and push custom metrics/dimensions via Dynatrace APIs.

Knowledge Transfer and Documentation

• Provide structured knowledge transfer sessions and maintain up-to-date documentation, including runbooks and configuration standards.
• Ensure LOB teams can operate and extend observability independently post-engagement.

Extend Dynatrace Capabilities

• Configure Dynatrace Extensions to achieve full observability across infrastructure, services, and third-party components.
• Develop custom extensions where necessary to close monitoring gaps and integrate non-standard technologies.
