We are searching for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician II to become part of our UniFirst family. As an essential member of our Maintenance Department, you will engage in the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Identify equipment issues through observation and precise testing methods.
• Assist colleagues with both emergency and routine repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and related control systems.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer instructions.
• Conduct testing and adjustments for boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment systems.
• Perform regular safety inspections on boilers, addressing issues as they arise.
• Maintain motors, belts, fluid levels, and filters as per maintenance procedures.
• Execute basic welding tasks for facility and equipment repairs.
• Lubricate and inspect various equipment parts as needed.
• Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System for documentation.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required; a two-year technical degree is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in industrial maintenance with a minimum of 1 year working with industrial processing equipment in a production environment is necessary. Military experience will be considered.
• Successful completion of UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and maintenance literature in English is essential.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills are required.
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures is mandatory.
• Willingness to work overtime as necessary is required.
• A valid driver's license and good driving record are essential.
• Capability to lift up to 80 lbs.
