As part of the Virginia Department of Health, Hampton and Peninsula Health Districts (HPHD) are two health districts serving the residents of the Cities of Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Williamsburg, and the Counties of James City and York.

If so, then the Hampton and Peninsula Health District Storekeeper role is for you! So, no two days are ever the same! If you're someone who takes pride in doing things right, enjoys working independently, and wants to be part of a team that makes a real impact, then this is the position for you!
Independently receives, classifies, and stores incoming stock; pulls, packs, and ships orders assigned by supervisor. Ensures incoming and outgoing orders are checked against invoice/packing list. Counts and inventories as assigned, assists with cleanup and storage of records, distributes supplies and conducts periodic inventories. May serve as building custodian, responsible for ensuring building is locked/open when scheduled, inspecting daily to find security/cleaning/repair problems, and serving as lead worker of cleaning team. May back up mail/messenger staff delivering mail, lab specimens, and bank deposits.
