As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will interact with guests and staff, offering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as appropriate.

+ Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior.

+ Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.

+ Support store management and staff with security-related matters as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
