Pay: Starting at $21.50/hour, commensurate with experience
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday - Friday), with initial training on 1st Shift

The Lee Group is hiring a hands-on 2nd Shift Lead for an industrial logistics environment in Williamsburg, VA. This key leadership role is responsible for managing all shift-related operations while ensuring the team meets production, quality, safety, and customer service goals. Job Responsibilities of the 2nd Shift Lead:

• Lead all operational duties for the assigned shift, focusing on production efficiency, effectiveness, and team performance.
• Oversee day-to-day processes, ensuring quality, customer service, and safety standards are met or exceeded.
• Ensure compliance with all Operational, Quality, and Safety Programs.
• Manage and schedule shift labor.
• Monitor and achieve production and quality goals and deadlines.
• Coach, train, and enforce safety procedures and safe working behaviors.
• Act as a hands-on leader capable of lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Operate a forklift as needed in daily operations.
• Foster effective communication across a diverse team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements of the 2nd Shift Lead:

• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role in an industrial, logistics, or production environment.
• At least 3-4 years experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to be hands-on and support production tasks as needed.
