Mechanical Assembler

Join a team where your mechanical skills are valued and developed! We're hiring Mechanical Assemblers to help manufacture high-quality driveshafts in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. Operate mechanical equipment like cut-off saws, welders, hydraulic presses, and balancers. Assemble driveshafts using hand tools with precision and care. Use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers) to ensure accuracy. Interpret work orders and dimensional instructions. Test and troubleshoot to meet quality standards. Use tablets, computers, and scanners to manage workflow. Maintain a clean and safe workspace. Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE.

Mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools. Ability to read and follow instructions. Strong communication, organization, and basic math skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment: Non-climate controlled production facility. Weekday shift: MondayThursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM. Fast-paced, hands-on, and team-oriented.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA. The pay range for this position is $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
