Description:

BMA is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our team. This position is located in Williamsburg, VA and is contingent on contract award.

Job Summary

  • The Quality Control (QC) Specialist implements and maintains the comprehensive Quality Control Program as prescribed by NAVELSG to ensure technical performance, accuracy, and compliance in all TOA maintenance, overhaul, and warehousing activities.
  • This position monitors all work performed under this contract, including ILO execution, container recertification, and configuration management.
  • The QC Specialist develops inspection checklists, audits, and quality metrics to validate process conformance and data integrity within DPAS-WM, OMMS-NG, and JCM.
  • The role performs random and scheduled inspections of maintenance actions, verifies adherence to OEM technical manuals, and ensures re-inspections and certifications meet MIL-STD-3037, NAVFAC P-307, and safety requirements.
  • The QC Specialist maintains calibration, welding, and container certification documentation and assists with root-cause analysis and corrective actions for any discrepancies.
  • This position ensures all deliverables are accurate, traceable, and consistent with NAVELSG's standards of operational readiness and data accountability.
  • Develop and enforce QC inspection checklists and audit schedules.
  • Conduct random and scheduled inspections of warehouse, maintenance, and ILO operations.
  • Validate DPAS-WM data accuracy and document non-conformances.
  • Track metrics for corrective and preventive actions and report results in Monthly Status Reports.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager on root cause analyses and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain calibration, welding, and container certification records per MIL-STD-3037.

Clearance Requirements

There is a Secret security clearance requirement for this position at the time of proposal submission.

Required Skills & Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical background in Quality Control or Logistics. Associate's Degree and/or combination of directly related military service may be considered as well.
  • 5 + years of QA/QC experience in DoD logistics or maintenance environments.
  • Familiarity with NAVFAC P-300/P-307, DPAS-WM, and MIL-STD-3037.
  • Experience in process auditing and ISO-compliant quality systems.
