Food Service Worker I

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA, is hiring a Food Service Worker I. This is a full time, rotating shift position with rotating weekends.

Food Service Workers are essential members of the food services team who offer support to the team and contribute in multiple ways, such as delivering nutritious meals and providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors. This position entails various responsibilities, including but not limited to preparing and assembling food according to dietary guidelines, safety and customer preferences, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, washing dishes, working as a cashier, meeting utility needs, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. As a Food Service Worker with Sentara, you work in the different aspects of delivering food to the patients.

High School Grad or Equivalent. 1 year of food service experience required in lieu of High School Education.

Food Handlers Card (Required)

Previous food service experience (Preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is $15.75 - $20.46. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
