As a Grounds Helper, your work will include:
Assisting with repair and maintenance of water and sewer systems
Reading water meters and reporting usage
Performing preventive maintenance on sewer pump stations
Supporting general building maintenance and groundskeeping
Operating tools and equipment including mowers, chainsaws, weed eaters, and small machinery
Clearing storm drains, snow removal, trash pickup, and seasonal landscaping
Performing V-DOT flagging duties and directing traffic when needed

What we're looking for:
Valid driver's license required
Ability to perform manual labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Previous experience with water/sewer line repair, groundskeeping, or equipment operation is a plus
Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable using tools and machinery
Willingness to obtain pesticide spraying certification within 6 months of hire
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
This is a safety-sensitive position and participates in random drug screening.
