Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our healthcare team. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide vital healthcare services in a secure and supportive environment. Job Types: Contract, Per diem

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 20 hours per week

Medical Specialty: Geriatrics

Physical Setting: Long term care

Experience: Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification: BLS Certification (Required) LPN (Required)

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Perform routine patient assessments, including vital signs and health screenings.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with facility policies.
• Educate patients on health management and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a secure and regulated environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to facility schedules, including potential weekends or holidays.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
