Perform structural welding for new construction on river barges and towboats. Flux core welding .052 dual shield on carbon and stainless steel. Back gouge, root pass, and cover/fill. Requirements:Must be able to back gouge, root pass, and cover/fill. Visual inspection only - must pass as 1st Class. Complete online yard orientation prior to test date. Must provide own tools and PPE (hard hat, steel-toe boots, gloves, face shield, etc.)Ability to read and follow blueprints and specifications.
