Use electrical meters and test instruments (voltohm meters, clamp-on ammeters, insulation resistance testers, meggers, etc.)Lay off and mount electrical equipment and wireways. Install cable penetrations in equipment, bulkheads, and decks. Install cables, make terminations, perform cutting and hookup. Requirements:Minimum of 3 years in the electrical field (Industrial, Marine, or Commercial Nuclear applications)Active DOD clearance required. Ability to read and interpret shipboard electrical installation drawings, wiring tables, schematics, and work packages. Able to work independently with proper instruction.
