Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mold Fabricator with a strong background in cabinetmaking or framing to join our production team. This role involves constructing, assembling, and maintaining molds used in manufacturing processes—requiring precision, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of woodworking techniques. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with framing layouts, cabinetry tools, and interpreting technical drawings.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Mold Construction: Build and assemble molds using wood, fiberglass, or composite materials based on blueprints and specifications.
• Cabinet & Framing Techniques: Apply advanced cabinetmaking and framing skills to ensure structural integrity and dimensional accuracy.
• Tool Operation: Safely operate saws, routers, drills, sanders, and other woodworking equipment.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and shop plans.
• Material Preparation: Measure, cut, and prep materials for mold fabrication with minimal waste.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect finished molds for defects, accuracy, and readiness for production use.
• Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on molds to extend usability.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and other fabricators to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in mold fabrication, cabinetmaking, or framing (minimum 2–3 years ).
• Strong understanding of woodworking tools, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Familiarity with composite mold-making is a plus.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or vocational / technical school equivalent

· 0-3 years of mold fabrication or manufacturing experience
