The Surry Power Station Nuclear Engineering department is seeking an Associate Engineer to Staff level Engineer for a position in the Auxiliary Systems and Programs area. There is one position which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Primary area of focus will be systems engineering in support of an operating nuclear power plant. Specific duties include monitoring and trending of system health, performing inspections of system components, generation of periodic reports and presentations to management team, and preparation of engineering technical evaluations, design changes, and calculations of mechanical systems. Develop maintenance plans and evaluate abnormal conditions for assigned systems. Provide engineering support of operational and maintenance activities during power operation and plant outages.
