Required Qualifications: At least 12 years of experience in system administration or related field within DoD/Navy programs Extensive knowledge of system administration principles and practices, particularly in managing complex, global IT systems Knowledgeable on the core AWS services related to permissions and networking and how they interact Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members Current Security+ certification is required Proven experience leading technical teams and managing full system lifecycle processes SAFe Agilist (SA) certification or higher Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret clearance Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Experience with naval maintenance and modernization systems or similar complex DoD programs Experience with deploying and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools like AWS CloudFormation AWS certification Windows or RHEL certification Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance administration of legacy systems and new technology integration Advanced SAFe certifications such as SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or SAFe DevOps Practitioner Proficiency in administering both legacy systems and modern, web-based applications Experience in managing systems across multiple operating systems and technology platforms Knowledge of relevant DoD and Navy standards for system security and administration Expertise in virtualization, cloud technologies, and automation tools Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements for DoD systems
