Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Educational Audiologist to provide comprehensive audiological services to students across the district. This role supports students with hearing loss and auditory processing challenges by ensuring access to appropriate hearing technologies, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with school staff to optimize learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hearing Screenings: Conduct routine screenings to identify students with potential hearing concerns.
• Audiological Evaluations: Perform diagnostic assessments to determine type and degree of hearing loss.
• Tympanometry: Assess middle ear function to support differential diagnosis and treatment planning.
• FM/Assistive Listening Device (ALD) Consultation: Recommend appropriate technology solutions tailored to individual student needs.
• FM/ALD Fitting & Real Ear Measures: Fit and verify devices using electroacoustic analysis and real ear measurement protocols.
• Earmold Management: Take impressions, order, and fit earmolds for students using hearing aids or FM systems.
• Electroacoustic Analysis/REM: Ensure devices meet performance standards and are properly calibrated.
• Minor On-Site Repairs: Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on hearing aids and ALDs.
• Otoacoustic Emission Testing: Conduct OAE tests to support early identification and monitoring.
• Telephone Consultation & Record Review: Provide expert guidance to families and staff; review audiological records to inform IEPs and 504 plans.
• Ordering Equipment: Manage procurement of FM/ALD systems, hearing aids, and related accessories.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D. preferred)
• Valid Virginia Audiology License
• ASHA Certification (CCC-A) preferred
• Experience in educational or pediatric audiology setting strongly desired
