Our client, a community management organization specializing in mobile and RV parks, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the property management support team. The ideal candidate will have reliability, adaptability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Mobile and RV Park

Location: Newport News, VA

Pay Range: $20 hr

What's the Job?

• Perform plumbing repairs such as fixing or replacing faucets and toilets, diagnosing and repairing water leaks

• Handle electrical tasks including replacing light fixtures, outlets, and understanding circuit breakers and fuses

• Oversee the community's curb appeal by picking up trash, groundskeeping, lawn mowing, planting flowers, and weeding

• Complete clean outs of homes and finish work orders efficiently and accurately

• Read water meters for each home and conduct regular inventory checks on equipment and supplies

What's Needed?

• 2-3 years of experience in general labor, groundskeeping, landscaping, or property maintenance

• 1-2 years of experience in basic residential plumbing

• Ability to be physically active, including walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 55 pounds

• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Comfort with using and learning basic technology and a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle
