Vamonos IT is seeking an experienced and passionate Microsoft 365 Senior Developer to join our dynamic team. The Microsoft 365 Senior Developer will play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, and supporting business-critical solutions built on Microsoft 365 platforms, including SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Teams, and related services. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and other technology professionals to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions that drive business value.
Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of complex solutions utilizing Microsoft 365 technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical best practices.
- Development: Develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Graph API, and other relevant tools.
- Deployment & Support: Oversee deployment of solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle-development, testing, release, and post-deployment support.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure solutions are robust, secure, and compliant with organizational standards. Conduct thorough testing and code reviews.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution guides, and user manuals.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering growth and sharing best practices within the development team.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and features in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Recommend and implement improvements to existing solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, presenting complex technical ideas in clear, understandable terms.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and user experience.
- Security & Compliance: Integrate security and compliance requirements into solution design and implementation, ensuring all solutions adhere to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Support internal Vamonos IT initiatives and operations as needed.
- Support the Vamonos IT business development initiatives and team.
- Engage/complete continuing education/certification processes as prescribed by customer and/or Vamonos IT.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing solutions with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Teams, etc.).
- Expert-level proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and custom app development within the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Graph API and RESTful web services.
- Proficient in front-end technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3) and back-end development (.NET, C#, Azure Functions).
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, security models, and cloud architecture.
- Experience integrating Microsoft 365 with third-party systems and APIs.
- Proven ability to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Microsoft certifications (such as MS-600, PL-400, or equivalent) highly desirable.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing in Microsoft environments.
- Knowledge of governance, compliance, and security standards relevant to Microsoft 365 deployments.
- Background in agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Experience training and mentoring junior team members.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Ability to innovate and implement creative solutions that drive user adoption.
- Familiarity with global deployment strategies and multi-tenant environments.
