What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and drive the overall technical roadmap for the GIA Platform organization, aligning it with business goals
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-discipline stakeholders to strategize platform service delivery
- Lead the design and architecture of resilient and scalable platform services for both on-premises and cloud-based solutions
- Champion software development best practices and ensure continuous delivery of business value
- Mentor and coach engineering teams to enhance technical expertise and operational excellence

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development
- 8+ years of experience with architecture and design
- Fluency in at least one modern programming language, preferably Go
- Proven track record of designing and maintaining highly scalable, reliable systems in production
- In-depth knowledge of hybrid cloud architecture and DevOps practices

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6+ years of experience with open-source frameworks
- 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud service providers
- Strong background in incident management and ability to create incident response playbooks
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management frameworks
- Excellent leadership skills with a passion for mentoring
