Our client is seeking a dynamic, licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Norfolk, Virginia to lead and expand their municipal water and wastewater engineering practice. This high-impact, seller-doer role blends hands-on project delivery with client engagement and strategic business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead Virginia's water/wastewater practice in collaboration with Ohio and West Virginia teams
• Oversee project delivery and market growth for municipal W/WW work in Virginia
• Manage designs for collection systems, lift stations, force mains, treatment plants, booster stations, and related studies
• Drive business development, proposals, and client relationships
• Ensure quality project execution and high client satisfaction
• Foster a collaborative team environment and mentor project managers
• Track goals, budgets, schedules, and risks across multiple projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
• PE license in Virginia (or eligible via reciprocity)
• 10+ years' experience in water/wastewater engineering
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Knowledge of treatment processes and business software a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Salary Range: $140,000-$170,000 (DOE)
