Description:

The Business Development/Internet Sales Representative is a technically savvy individual who understands computers, the internet, and other technologies and who can communicate in a clear, efficient way with customers using their preferred method of communication (internet/email, mobile/Smart phones, tablets, etc.). He or she is extremely knowledgeable about our vehicles and services, the industry, and our market, including vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, safety features and functions, and financing options. The Sales Representative responds to customer inquiries relating to vehicles, products, and services via the internet, mobile or smart phones, and other electronic media and presents new and pre-owned vehicles to customers in an attractive and highly informative fashion that promotes a prompt sale. In addition, the Sales Representative maintains an ongoing relationship with customers to encourage networking and repeat business.

The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED (post high school education preferred), a proven sales performance record (in any industry), and a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota on an ongoing basis. He or she must have a strong understanding of today's technologies and have excellent computer, internet, and mobile/Smart phone and tablet skills. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Verifiable sales performance (any industry)
  • Demonstrated ability to close sales
  • Negotiation expertise
  • Strong computer/internet, mobile/Smart phone, and Social Media skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
  • Outgoing personality and willing to work with the public on a daily basis
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • Able to achieve goals with limited direct supervision
  • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
