Job Responsibilities

• Attend organized safety walks daily
• Possess working knowledge of NAVSEA Standard Items
• Correct safety discrepancies on vessels and piers
• Check employees for safety issues- PPE, safe working practices
• Maintain daily reports on the safety walks and issues addressed
• Work well in conjunction with other departments and help other employees
• Follow all safety regulations and set a good example

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Able to pass a thorough background check
• Obtain clearance for a TWIC badge and DBID
• Drug free
• Dependable
• Experience in maritime safety preferred
