Job Summary:

Client ’ Platforms and Services sector Talent Acquisition team is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Recruiter with a strong background in recruiting for Engineering and Skilled Trades functions. This is a fast-paced role within a collaborative and results-driven team that plays a vital part in identifying top talent to support our mission-critical programs. The successful candidate will engage with hiring managers, HR partners, and candidates to deliver exceptional recruitment services aligned with Client strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies.
  • Identify, source, and engage passive candidates through multiple platforms, including job boards, social media, and internal ATS/CRM systems.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Craft and send engaging recruitment communications to attract top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with OFCCP regulations and Client Systems policies during the recruitment process.
  • Promote employer branding and support diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.
  • Collaborate with HR teams on compensation, onboarding, and compliance-related activities.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment processes from sourcing to onboarding across multiple functional areas including ship repair, shipbuilding, and engineering.



  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proficient in using ATS and CRM systems (e.g., Kenexa/BrassRing or similar platforms).
  • Proven success recruiting in OFCCP-compliant environments.
  • Strong capability in developing and executing recruiting plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting skilled trades, ship repair, and shipbuilding industries.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring teams and influence decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience driving Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) recruitment initiatives.


  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience recruiting within a Department of Defense (DoD) or defense contractor environment.
  • Prior experience working in engineering, manufacturing, or defense-related industries.

  • Certifications:
  • No specific certifications required; relevant recruitment or HR certifications are a plus.


  • Education: Bachelors Degree

    Certification: Professional in Human Resources
