We are currently open and developing first class gaming venues in Rochester, Hampton, and Littleton.

About the role

Monitor and coordinate the security operations to maintain a secure and safe premise. Accurately and objectively report and document incidents and unusual activities during assigned shift. Performs all duties assigned in accordance with all applicable legal regulations and requirements, presenting oneself as an asset to the Casino and encouraging others to do the same.

What you'll do

  • Provide first class customer service to all guests and employees.
  • Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance at all times
  • Communicate effectively with all guests and employees, and follows through on written or verbal instructions.
  • Assist in enforcing all local, state and federal laws and regulations
  • Monitor and coordinate all security activities during assigned shift.
  • Assist upper management with investigations.
  • Prepare and complete all necessary documentation for incidents.
  • Prevent minors and intoxicated persons from entering the premises.
  • Preserve order among patrons and staff.
  • Utilize only non-offensive physical techniques, when appropriate.
  • Must be able to effectively defuse violent/volatile situations and never use language or body language that could incite a physical confrontation.
  • Work effectively and efficiently with all other Casino employees.
  • Monitor casino floor to ensure a safe, comfortable, and proper gaming experience.
  • Remain alert and accurately document observations.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe manner.
  • Inform the Security Manager and/or Security Supervisor of suspicious persons or activities that could be harmful to the Casino.
  • Report all security related actions to Surveillance.
  • Assist in the training and evaluation process of Security Officers.
  • Initiate, monitor and complete box pull, following proper procedures.
  • Assist in the control of emergency situations and ensure notification procedures are implemented.
  • Demonstrates the highest standards of integrity and honesty in all actions. Upholds confidentiality, follows all legal and company guidelines, and consistently sets an example of ethical conduct for the team.
  • Effectively manages schedules, shift coverage, incident reports, and team communications. Maintains accurate documentation and ensures operational readiness through structured planning and attention to detail.
  • Takes full ownership of assigned duties and team performance. Follows through on tasks, enforces policies consistently, and ensures all security operations are performed to the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • Balances strong security presence with hospitality-focused service. Approaches guest interactions with professionalism, tact, and empathy, ensuring guests feel safe, respected, and supported.
  • Proficient with surveillance systems, access control software, incident reporting platforms, and standard office tools (e.g., Word, Excel). Quickly adapts to new technologies and supports team use of systems.
  • Responds swiftly and effectively to emergencies, conflicts, and unexpected challenges. Thinks critically under pressure, makes sound decisions, and communicates solutions clearly to all parties involved.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Security supervisors and upper management.

Qualifications

  • Available to work different types of events with varying time schedules, on varying days as needed.
  • Read and comprehend all necessary documentation, training materials and policy information.
  • Able to assist sick or injured guests and or team members.
  • Communicate courteously, effectively, and professionally with guests and all levels of team members.
  • Use tools and equipment such as, radios, computers, and other tools specific to the position.
  • Stand for extended periods of time.
  • Consistently dependable in attendance, punctuality, and follow-through. Can be counted on to lead by example, maintain trust with team members and leadership, and ensure continuous security coverage.
  • Maintains composure and professionalism in rapidly changing situations. Flexible in adjusting to shift needs, evolving policies, or unexpected incidents, and supports the team in doing the same.
  • Communicate clearly, in English, with guests in a professional manner.
  • Work within Company established policies/guidelines.
