The ODU Libraries Head of Systems Development is responsible for oversight and management of the key information systems that support Libraries functions and services. This position oversees the work of the Systems Administrator and the Brickell Library Systems Librarian to coordinate enterprise solutions including the integrated library system and discovery layer (Clarivate Alma Primo VE, OCLC Worldshare Management System), institutional repository (Digital Commons), link resolver (EZ Proxy), interlibrary loan (IL - Liad), Special Collections and University Archives (Preservica), and Springshare product suite. This position acts as primary administrator of the Libraries website and intranet, in collaboration with the Web Advisory Team and University Communications, and oversees the management of the Brickell Medical Sciences Library testing lab.
