Receives and records dining reservations via the telephone. Ensures the proper setup of dining and service areas. Politely request guests wait in waiting area if no table is available. Ensures neatness and cleanliness of stations. Maintains clean and organized tables and work area. Presents menus and makes recommendations, learns all menus and specials. Assists room service staff when needed. Checks guests in and out of hotel suites. Helps guests with luggage. Serves breakfast to overnight guests. Manages event related work including setting up tables and assisting in maintaining both exterior and interior of the restaurant.
