Dominion Energy is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Scaffold Builder at our Surry Power Station in Surry County, VA. The successful individual will build and remove scaffolding at the plant as needed. Sample duties include the following: Work at heights of 40 feet while wearing a safety harness. Determine the amount of scaffold material required. Identify appropriate construction locations. Transport scaffold material Assist in regular scaffold inspections. This position requires the use of safety shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection. Must be able to qualify to use a respirator. The starting hourly rate for this position is $24.61 per hour Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
