The Utility Worker, under the direction and supervision of the Director of Dining or his or her designee, is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen and food storage areas and that all cooking and dining implements meet or exceed standards set by the Health Department and other regulatory agencies. PAY Pay rate for this position starts at $15.50/hr. and is commensurate with experience. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Washes and sanitizes all dishes, pots, pans and food preparation equipment. Empties kitchen garbage/trash and sanitizes containers as needed. Sweeps, mops and foams kitchen floor, refrigerator/freezer and storeroom as assigned. Assists putting away deliveries as needed. Maintains cleanliness of all walls in kitchen and serving line area. Performs regular cleaning of heavy kitchen equipment. Assists in moving heavy equipment and furniture when needed.
