The Manager, Data Integration is responsible for managing the software engineers and overseeing database and transaction processing systems that form the basis of the enterprise's computer systems, including detail application design, development and implementation of business and specialized systems and programs, the development and implementation of development standards and tools. They direct, manage and coordinate projects to build and/or implement comprehensive integrated system solutions.
Oversee the activities of the application programming group. Coordinate the activities of the Group with IS and other enterprise departments. Provide technical leadership to IS and the enterprise. Review workload and staffing requirements, make recommendations regarding employment, promotions, salary adjustments, and termination. Perform employee counseling and work performance evaluations. Identify potential problems before they occur and implement solutions. Schedule and prioritize work to accommodate IS and user needs while minimizing impact on current projects. Contribute to the training and development of IS personnel.
Directly supervises employees; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
