Position Summary

This position will help coordinate the operational and administrative activities of the Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track and Field program. These duties will range from interacting with current student-athletes, assisting with team travel, compiling and organizing recruiting material, to assisting with all Cross Country and Track home events.

Conditions of Employment

  • Work schedule includes frequent evenings and weekends as well as overnight travel to sport events.
  • Must meet physical requirements for the job, including the ability to withstand extreme weather conditions for prolonged periods of time.
  • Yearly successful completion of NCAA compliance certification.
  • CPR certification or obtained within six months of hire.
  • This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.
  • This position is restricted to funding.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • High degree of computer proficiency in a variety of software applications, including MS Office (specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with technical applications and an enterprise student information system.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative. Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the sports of track & field and cross country.

Advertised Pay Range

$38,000-$42,000

All hiring rates are commensurate with relevant experience up to the advertised amount considering internal alignment.
