Position Summary

This position is responsible for program oversight, supervision of staff, and achievement of performance outcomes of the Transition Services unit, including all aspects of Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) and the GATES project.

Essential Duties

  1. Manage the daily operation of services in the Transition Services business unit, including enrollment, placement capacity, supervision, and performance management of designated program personnel.
  2. Maintain process management of data systems and outcome measurement reports to internal and external agents, tracking, measuring, and ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of processes.
  3. Work with Mission Integration leadership to develop individual program budgets and monitor fiscal performance to meet budgeted goals.
  4. Ensure quality standards for compliance of records according to best practices and standards from CARF, Source America, DARS, DMAS, DOL, DBHDS, and funding agents; provide training and development for staff to meet these standards.
  5. Monitor billing against fiscal allocations, ensuring billing, reports, and case notations adhere to standards set by funding and regulatory agencies.
  6. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to recruit, hire, onboard, and train program staff and participants.
  7. Develop curriculum for work-based learning, coordinate training with the direct service team, and ensure services are delivered as designed to maintain fidelity with the approved program model.
  8. Manage relationships with community partners to ensure engagement, referral opportunities, and partnership alignment.
  9. Support and develop direct reports through goal setting, feedback, coaching, recognition, and fostering a diverse team aligned with organizational vision and strategy.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position supervises designated associates within the department.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related experience required.
  • Membership in professional organizations or certifications preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and a satisfactory driving record required.
  • Ability to pass background checks as required by contracts and regulations.
  • Proficiency with PC, databases, and Microsoft Office; experience working with individuals facing employment barriers and supervisory experience preferred.
