Sentara Health is hiring a Full-Time Day-shift. Manager, Operational Process Improvement Engineer for the Operations Improvement team. Primary responsibility is to lead a team of Process Improvement Senior Engineers/ Engineers helping Sentara make significant changes in clinical or operational processes with a strategic or operational focus. The manager will interface with senior leaders and help identify opportunities for improvement, organize resources, select and implement the appropriate improvement methodology, assign appropriate team members and ensure projects are conducted successfully. Responsible for the design, project planning and implementation of process improvement projects (Lean Six Sigma, Rapid Improvement, Reengineering, Process Redesign, CQI, Business Development, Benchmarking, Productivity Improvements, Technology Breakthroughs, etc.) which cut across divisions and departments.
