Summary of Position (Job Purpose)

  • The position oversees the creative, production, and operational output of the Dollar Tree marketing team. Responsibilities include conceptualizing, producing, and executing full funnel marketing content to increase brand awareness, strengthen brand positioning, and drive traffic and sales growth. The team supports marketing priorities such as communication, calendar of events, seasonal campaigns, and overall marketing strategies. Collaboration with Brand Marketing and Merchandising teams is essential to ensure consistency across all touchpoints and maintain brand standards.

The role also manages In-Store Signage production, leading signage projects, influencing store aesthetics, and executing seasonal marketing campaigns. It includes managing in-store signage effectiveness, ease of installation, and customer engagement.

Additionally, the position oversees in-store marketing production and logistics, including managing budgets, forecasting, billing, and performance reporting.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop content strategy and creative aligned with company goals, campaigns, and seasons.
  • Manage marketing and editorial content across all channels, ensuring high standards and brand consistency.
  • Lead signage production, manage vendor relationships, and oversee the photo studio for high-quality content delivery.
  • Optimize processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all marketing outputs within budget.
  • Leverage customer and field input to enhance in-store materials.
  • Support internal campaigns, including diversity initiatives, events, and leadership branding.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years in Creative or Brand Marketing within Retail or CPG sectors.
  • At least 5 years in management or leadership roles with successful team development.
  • Proven expertise in creative content production, brand strategy, and multi-channel marketing.
  • Experience managing creative teams, agency relationships, and agile production schedules.
  • Knowledge of print and signage production processes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build strategic alliances.

This is a full-time position at the director level in marketing and sales within the retail industry.
