We are looking for a talented, motivated Optometrist who is passionate about their work to join our Eyepic team!

This flexible position, which can be part-time or full-time, comes with plenty of opportunities for growth, a highly competitive salary, as well as bonuses and incentives.

We are a full-service practice with a focus on comprehensive medical optometry as well as routine eyecare. With locations in Park Slope, Williamsburg, Harlem, and Flatbush on the way, our practices come fully equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technologies (VF, Optos, OCT and more) and on-staff ophthalmologists will help you streamline patient co-management. Trained ophthalmic technicians will be available to perform pretesting and assist you as necessary so you can focus on caring for the patients.

Job Description - HR Specialist

We are looking for a full-time HR Specialist to join our team and monitor all Human Resources functions. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of full cycle recruiting and solid knowledge of labor legislation.

Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creating, implementing, and evaluating all human resource department policies, procedures, and structures.
  • Designing and implementing effective training and development plans.
  • Performing quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
  • Ensuring all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status.
  • Identifying the companys hiring needs and managing the recruitment process to ensure it runs smoothly.
  • Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records.
  • Responding to employees queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation.

Requirements and Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, human resources, or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes.
  • Good understanding of the full recruitment process.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid problem-solving and team management abilities.
