The Nuclear Medicine/ PET Technologist is responsible for performing all necessary duties and functions related to planning, organizing, and performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and PET procedures. The Nuclear Medicine/ PET Technologist is responsible for producing high quality diagnostic images with special attention to radiation safety/regulations, including proper documentation and technique when working with patients and radioactive materials. The Nuclear Medicine/ PET technologist provides coverage for both departments (Nuclear Medicine/ PET) as needed. What you will do. Performs a variety of nuclear medicine studies to include all types of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Produces quality images following appropriate protocols and procedures.
