The Nuclear Medicine/ PET Technologist is responsible for performing all necessary duties and functions related to planning, organizing, and performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and PET procedures. The Nuclear Medicine/ PET Technologist is responsible for producing high quality diagnostic images with special attention to radiation safety/regulations, including proper documentation and technique when working with patients and radioactive materials. The Nuclear Medicine/ PET technologist provides coverage for both departments (Nuclear Medicine/ PET) as needed. What you will do. Performs a variety of nuclear medicine studies to include all types of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Produces quality images following appropriate protocols and procedures. Provides clinical documentation per scope of practice. Follows ALARA principles.
