Scripps is seeking a detail-oriented Master Control Hub Operator in Indianapolis who can monitor multiple programming sources simultaneously and ensure seamless television broadcasts. In this role, you'll be the behind-the-scenes hero keeping our stations on air and running smoothly. WHAT YOU'LL DO:Monitor several programming sources simultaneously, managing and switching sources for local television station programming remotely from the Hub. Ensure the correct spots air during programming and note any discrepancies. Solve problems and make judgment calls regarding programming changes, commercials, special reports, and technical difficulties. Evaluate clock/timing to consider options for programming and decide when to escalate issues. Make decisions and consult with internal customers regarding local transmitter parameters and operation.
