STATEMENT OF JOB - Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the overall management and day to day administrative and professional duties for the Portsmouth Art and Cultural Center to include research, documentation, interpretation, maintenance and conservation. Reports to the Director of Museums and Tourism or designee. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the Portsmouth Art and Cultural Center. Provides interpretation of museum exhibits; plans and displays art exhibits; manages cultural events, exhibit openings and other activities as required; may serve on various committees and advisory boards.
