We are currently seeking a Business Development Senior Director to join our team in McLean, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Leads a team of Business Developers in the achievement of the largest and most complex business opportunities involving current and future vendor relationships and client accounts.

1. Develops opportunities within the largest and most visible client and partner relationships.
2. Leads the development of strategic account business relationships, and helps develop and execute corporate client level marketing and selling strategies.
3. Directs the long-range forecasting and analysis associated with potential alliances/partnerships and new product opportunities.
4. May have lower level Business Developers Leaders reporting to them.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Business Development Leader for our State Health Consulting business across the country. This leadership role is focused on sales operations, driving strategic growth, and overseeing a team of business development resources.

The ideal candidate will have 15 years of experience in government sales, with a deep understanding of HHS solutions, proven expertise in managing teams, and a strong network of relationships in the Health and Human Services space.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the sales strategy for State Health Consulting, aligning with overall business objectives. Identify new business opportunities and market trends to ensure competitive positioning and growth.
2. Sales Operations Management: Oversee and optimize the end-to-end sales lifecycle, including pipeline management, lead generation, and deal closure.
3. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity.
4. Client and Partner Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners. Act as the face of the company at industry events and conferences.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, delivery, pre-sales, and product teams to ensure alignment on strategy and customer success.
6. Revenue and Market Share Growth: Drive exponential revenue growth while ensuring profitability.

Minimum Requirements:

• 15+ years of progressive experience in State government/HHS sales, including at least 5 years in a national or regional leadership role. Deep expertise in State Medicaid/HHS, Child Support divisions, and Public Health are essential.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Graduate degree preferred.
